We supply ammunition and loaner firearms for several reasons:

 1.  Those new to shooting will not know the appropriate firearm or ammunition to bring to the range.

2.   Many indoor ranges have limitations and do not permit magnum and steel core bullets on their range.

 3.  We can often obtain better ammunition pricing with bulk purchasing and save money for the students.

4.  Frequently students will fire several different guns during the course of fire that requires different calibers of ammunition.  We can provide the student new to the shooting sports a positive and complete experience by giving them the option of trying several guns.

5.  Some students will want to start learning the fundamentals with a small caliber such as a .22 revolver and then move to a 38 caliber revolver and/or a 9 mm semi-automatic.

6.  Fit of a firearm is critical to the student learning how to shoot a handgun safely and effectively, by providing numerous handguns in a variety of designs we are better able to fit the gun to the student and provide the appropriate ammunition.  A more enjoyable and safe experience.

7.  If you wish to bring your own firearm and ammunition to the range please have it inspected by one of the instructors

This policy provides those new to the shooting sports an opportunity to experience several different guns and ammunition that they would not ordinarily have without great expense and will assist them in their future purchases of firearms and ammunition. We are able to ensure a safe environment, the student uses the appropriate ammunition for the course of fire, is able to complete the range fire course, and saving the student time and money not having to shop for ammunition or a gun.   All too frequently some students are better off learning the fundamentals of pistol shooting with smaller calibers; that decision is often made at the range as we progress thru the course of fire.
