NRA Rifle Instructor Workshop.
You will learn to teach this course:
at least 14 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate
NRA Basic Instructor Training is required. “All NRA Instructor training courses require this pre-requisite training course. This course is a six (6) hour classroom-only course, which covers the common firearms instruction techniques, policy & procedure, and other information needed for all instructors to successfully teach firearms training courses. If you have taken this course within the previous 12 months you will not have to repeat it.
Regiuster with a deposit of $100.00. Balance due on first day of the workshop. Course Fee: $275.00 includes NRA Fees, Lunches, NRA lesson plans and Student Packets.
